Lavandula 'Grosso'
Evergreen shrub with narrow, grey-green foliage and long-stemmed, very aromatic, deep bluish-purple flower heads in summer. It is a cross between the cold-hardy English lavender and the tough Portuguese lavender. It loves a hot, sunny position and does not require a lot of water. The flowers are ideal for picking to dry. Good for edging an herb garden or perennial border in a sunny spot.
