Cotinus coggygria 'Red Spirit'
Large deciduous shrub with long erect branches. Fabulous rounded purple-grey leaves in spring turning to a rich colour of brilliant red-orange in autumn. Showy clusters of pink flowers in summer, giving the illusion of smoke. Hardy. Deciduous, great for dry sites. Sun or semi-shade. Wonderful for colour and contrast in the garden.
