Clivia 'Jims Best Red'

Evergreen clump-forming perennial with glossy dark green strap-shaped leaves. In summer stems of large fragrant orange-red flowers appear above the leaves. Grown best in shady, frost-free sites. Tolerate very dry conditions, though summer watering will encourage more flowers. Avoid root disturbance for best results. Fabulous as an understory below trees. These are an improved selection from Jim Rumble, New Plymouth.
