Clematis 'Sunset'
Deciduous climber. Beautiful large showy flowers 15 cm wide are deep plummy red with purple highlights. Yellow anthers. Flowers spring and summer. They flower on last season's growth, so prune only the dead and weak stems out in late winter. Trim to shape after flowering. Best planted with the roots in shade. Great twining through trees.
